From the A4074
Between the Oratory School (near Woodcote) and Cane End, take the B4526, signposted Goring. After half a mile you will come to a sharp bend where the road forks. Take the left hand fork, signposted Goring Heath. At the crossroads go straight over, signposted Path Hill. Querns is the first house you come to. You'll know it by its thatch-roofed barn and white-painted posts.
From the M4/ Pangbourne
Leave the M4 at J12, and follow signs to Pangbourne. In Pangbourne, turn right at the first mini roundabout and left at the second mini roundabout, heading towards Whitchurch. Pass over the toll bridge (NB: the toll is 40p each way) and through Whitchurch village. At the "Give way" sign where the road narrows, turn right into Hardwick Road (signposted Path Hill, opposite an art gallery). Follow this road past the alpaca farm, up the hill, and through Path Hill. Continue along the lane for a further half mile, and you will find the low thatched roof of the barn at Querns on your right.
